Part II: South Jersey Football Games of the Week
Not only is this the final week before the playoffs begin, but there are a number of division titles that will be decided.

Willingboro (4-3) at Camden (6-1), Friday, 6 pm.
Willingboro will try to achieve the weekly double in the city of Camden. Last week the Chimeras upset Woodrow Wilson. Now it will be an even tougher task beating a Camden team that has won six in a row. Regardless of how Willingboro fares, the Chimeras will be a serious contender in South (or Central) Group 1. Camden QB Monte Williams is playing his best football of the season. Williams has completed 53.4 percent of his passes for 960 yards and 10 TDs. Camden senior Tidiane Bamba has been a force for one of the best defenses in South Jersey. He has 8.5 sacks and 7 hurries to lead the Panthers in both departments.
Deptford (5-2) at Haddonfield (7-0), Friday, 7 pm.
Deptford, coming off a 3-7 season, has quietly enjoyed a strong year. The Spartans are currently seeded 13th in the South Group 3 playoff race (according to Gridironnewjersey.com). The top 16 teams will qualify. Even if Deptford loses this game, the Spartans still could get in the playoffs because the system awards teams that play highly regarded opponents. Haddonfield is ranked No. 1 in South Jersey by The Philadelphia Inquirer. Haddonfield senior Jay Foley has completed 57.3 percent of his passes for 1,043 yards and 13 touchdowns. Senior Chris Brown has rushed for 438 yards (5.2 avg.) and six touchdowns. Senior Drew Gavranich has six receptions, but five have gone for touchdowns. Senior defensive end Gabe Klaus has 13 tackles for loss, including seven sacks.Article continues below

Eastern (6-1) at Kingsway (4-3), Friday, 7 pm.
The winner of this game will finish second in the WJFL Royal Division. Holy Spirit has already clinched the division title. Both teams appear headed to the South Group 5 playoffs. Eastern is seeded sixth while Kingsway is 11th (with the top 16 earning berths). Eastern has won six in a row since an opening 30-22 loss to Holy Spirit. Kingway has shown great improvement after going 3-7 last season. Stopping the explosive Eastern offense, which is led by quarterback Andrew Heck, will be a key for Kingsway.
Penns Grove (8-0) at Salem (6-1), Saturday, 12 pm.
Penns Grove would clinch the WJFL Diamond Division title with a win. Salem would clinch at least a tie with a win. (The Rams have one final Diamond Division game left Thanksgiving vs. Woodstown). Last year Salem won a 20-18 decision at Penns Grove. This could be quite an aerial show. Salem quarterback Jamael Bundy has completed 62.6 percent of his passes for 1,475 yards and 23 touchdowns. Senior Ja’yon Mejias has 18 receptions for 398 yards and nine TDs. Penns Grove junior Kavon Lewis has completed 63.6 percent of his passes for 1,120 yards and 13 TDs. Senior Tyreke Brown has rushed for 662 yards (10.2 avg.) and 13 TDs. He also has 16 receptions for 309 yards and five TDs.
Gateway (6-0) at Paulsboro (6-1), Saturday, 12:30 pm.
Paulsboro would clinch the WJFL Memorial Division title with a win. Gateway would clinch at least a tie with a victory. (The Gators final division game is Thanksgiving vs. Woodbury). Last year Paulsboro escaped with a 21-14 win and this year could be just as competitive.
