South Jersey weekend events are here for you and the whole family!


Burlington County Farm Fair
Friday July 20: Burlington County Fair Grounds,Columbus, 4-11 pm
The fair offers a variety of activities to the tens of thousands of visitors that attend each year. Shown by 4-H members, horses, cows, rabbits, chickens, sheep, goats and other animals are on display each day.
 
Dog Tales
Friday July 20: Burlington County Library,Westampton, 3:30 pm
Children of all ages are invited to come to the library to meet Isla, a reading therapy dog. Isla will listen as children read their favorite books to her.
 
Fireworks on the Beach
Friday July 20: Pine Avenue Beach, Wildwood, 10 pm
Pull up a beach chair or just stop in your tracks on the Boardwalk for a few minutes of breathtaking color and light.
 
Friday Family Fun Night
Friday July 20: Lindenwold Park, 7 pm
Friday nights this summer in Lindenwold Park feature entertainment for the entire family (Magician Ron, 7 pm), followed by a movie (Cars 3, 8:45 pm) under the stars.
 
Friday Night Gaming
Friday July 20: Haddon Heights Library, 5-9 pm
Haddon Heights Library transforms their library meeting room into an arcade every Friday night. Children of all ages are welcome to play games from the Xbox One and the Playstation 4.
 
Fun Golf Instruction Friday
Friday July 20: Ramblewood Country Club, Mount Laurel, 6-8 pm
Open to the public for all ages and skill levels, receive free advice from a golf instructor on chipping or putting. The night includes giveaways, contests, and live music.
 
Movies in the Park, Lego Ninjago
Friday July 20: Woolwich Township Municipal Building, 7-10 pm
Grab the family, lawn chairs, blankets, and enjoy free movies in the parks all summer, every Friday in Gloucester Township. Movies begin at dusk.
 
Movies on the Beach, Coco
Friday July 20: Mirror Lake Beach, Pemberton Township, 8:30-10:30 pm
Gather the family to bring your blankets and chairs to catch a free movie in Burlington County all summer long.
 
Play Streets: Express Yourself
Friday July 20: Downtown Vineland, 11 am-3 pm
Called “a playground in a box”, Play Streets offers constructive outdoor play opportunities for youngsters while, at the same time, creating a family-friendly atmosphere on the streets.
This week will include a Pokémon station, “Tell Your Story” magnetic board, photo fun with a selfies station, sidewalk chalk, bag design, and a scavenger hunt.
 
Pop Up Story Time in the Park
Friday July 20: Chapel Avenue, Cherry Hill, 10-10:30 am
Join us each week for stories and fun as your children's librarians pop up throughout the town.
 
Rhythm in the Park Concert Series, Big Daddy Duo
Friday July 20: Tony Canale Park, Egg Harbor Township, 7-9 pm
Come with your family, friends, and neighbors to enjoy a family-friendly evening featuring live music and fun for everyone.
 
Borough of Glass Festival: ArtWalk and Night Market
Saturday July 21: Glassboro Town Square, 5-10 pm
This inspiring festival will include dozens of local and area glassblowers, sculptors, painters, metalsmiths, and woodworkers, plus a multitude of other handcrafters that will offer their items for sale and be demonstrating their skills and craftsmanship right before your eyes.
 
Gloucester County Firefly Festival
Saturday July 21: Tall Pines State Preserve, Sewell, 7:45-9:30 pm
Viewing “nature’s light show” is part of the magic of growing up in New Jersey. But there are fewer and fewer fireflies. Join us as we explore the world of fireflies and how you can help fireflies be a part of our landscape for years to come. The festival includes a number of fun, educational stations scattered along a three-quarter mile, self-guided, loop trail.
 
Haddonfield Farmers Market
Saturday July 21: Kings Court, Haddonfield, 8:30 am-1 pm
This season, the Haddonfield Farmers Market will have entertainment and host master gardeners and cook offs. Each week’s offerings are dependent on the growing season, harvests, and availability.
 
Head Back to Hogwarts
Saturday July 21: Your Local Target, 11 am-2 pm
Celebrate the world of Harry Potter with giveaways, crafts, readings, toy demos, photo opportunities, and other activities to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.
 
Heritage Jazz and Blues Festival
Saturday July 21: Burlington City, 2-9 pm
Bring the family to enjoy a day of music.
 
Ike’s Family Fun Fest
Saturday July 21: Wiggins Park, Camden, 11 am-2 pm
The day includes free Flambeau tackle boxes to all present kids (while supplies last), games with prizes that help fill your tackle box, color-your-own Berkley baits, a High School Fishing Skills Challenge (prior sign up required), a Yards Beer Garden, live music, and food.
 
JCPenney Kids’ Zone Summer Fun
Saturday July 21: Cherry Hill Mall, 11 am-12 pm
JCPenney Kids’ Zone lets school-aged kids create fun arts and crafts projects every month. Children will receive a collectible pin for every project they finish. This month, design your own sunglasses.

Really Little Residents
Saturday July 21:
 Haddon Heights Library, 10:30-11 am
Haddon Heights Library hosts a weekend story time program every Saturday. Parents and children from birth to four years old are welcome to enjoy stories, singing, and dancing.

Summer in the Streets
Saturday July 21:
 Washington Street, Toms River, 12-6 pm
There will be live music, including The Music Academy, The Kootz Band, CPR Band, and Katfish Lucy. Enjoy a Kid Zone with free games and prizes, balloonist, rides, and inflatables. Shop around food trucks, merchandise, and handcraft vendors.

Tropicana’s Free Fireworks Series
Saturday July 21: 2831 Boardwalk, Atlantic City, 10 pm
Light up Atlantic City’s skies with a free spectacular fireworks display. The shows, designed by Fireworks by Grucci, will be displayed from the beachfront and will include intricately designed scenes and vivid effects.

Winslow Township Family Day
Saturday July 21: New Brooklyn Park, Sicklerville, 2-8 pm
The day features live entertainment, kid activities, social agencies, community organizations, food vendors, and lots of giveaways. Urban Guerrilla Orchestra will perform from 7-9 pm as part of the Winslow Summer Music Series.

Wooden Boat Festival
Saturday July 21: Huddy Park, Toms River, 9 am-3 pm
This summer celebration brings together handsomely crafted boats, food vendors, local artists, and family-friendly activities to the recently renovated Huddy Park.
 
Concerts in the Park, The Bilco Band
Sunday July 22:
 Hainesport Township Municipal Complex, 7-8:30 pm
Bring your blankets and chairs for a great evening of music at the muncipal park on Marne Highway.


Concert in the Park, Tri-County Symphonic Band and Orchestra
Sunday July 22: Washington Lake Park Amphitheater, Sewell, 7-10 pm
Grab the family, lawn chairs, blankets, and enjoy free concerts in the park all summer.
