Rosters Announced for Camden County... Rosters Announced for Camden County All-Star Baseball Game

Some of the top seniors in South Jersey will compete in the 15th annual Camden County Board of Freeholders all-star baseball game.

This year’s game is 7 p.m. on Monday June 12 at Campbell’s Field, the former home of the Camden Riversharks.

What is great about this game is that players from all teams are represented, which gives some seniors valuable exporsure, especially for those who have yet to commit to a college.

Plus Campbell’s’ Field is one of the great venues for baseball.

One of the leading names is Eastern third baseman Davis Schneider, a Rutgers recruit, who recently set the school hit record with his 129th. Schneider will compete on the East team. Schneider broke the Eastern record of 128 set by Nick Tierno, currently a senior at the University of Delaware.

Leading the West squad, has been one of South Jersey’s top two-way players, Audubon senior pitcher-first baseman Andrew Fehr.

The game will be played two days after the NJSIAA state championship games have concluded. For the majority of the participants, this will be the final time that they get to represent their high school.

Cherry Hill West head coach Dan McMaster will guide the West team, while Highland’s D.J. Gore is the head coach of the East squad.

With some players still looking to make their college choices, this is a must-see game for college coaches, especially from Division III schools.

Here are the rosters for the teams.
